DVR-Q1000
Connected Dash Cam with Driver Assistance, featuring 2K QHD with True HDR, 156° wide-angle lens and WiFi
The Alpine DVR-Q1000 Connected Dash Cam is an excellent choice for drivers that value high quality video recordings in 2K QHD (2560 x 1440) @ 30 fps or FHD (1920x1080) @ 60 fps.
When connected to an internet device such as your smartphone, vehicle WiFi or pocket WiFi the dash cam can store recorded footage in the cloud, where you can download and review videos at any time from your smartphone. You can even view live footage of the dash cam and see the vehicle’s location on a digital map.
Parking surveillance mode is automatically activated when you turn off your ignition and captures footage when a motion or impact is detected, so you have video evidence of hit-and-runs while you are away from your vehicle. You can even activate push notifications on your smartphone to be notified in case of an impact larger than 3G.
To ensure excellent recordings at day and night, the DVR-Q1000 is loaded with amazing technologies: for example, Super Night Vision 3.0 paired with HDR ensures recording of important details even at night. Dewarping Technology ensures minimal edge distortion to reduce the fisheye effect in all footage captured with the 156° wide-angle lens.
The DVR-Q1000 also includes driver assistance functions, such as lane departure warnings, proximity alert and others, as well as fixed speed and red light camera warnings.
Excellent Recording Quality in 2K QHD with true HDR
Equipped with the latest Sony Starvis IMX335 Image Sensors allows for crisp clean 2K QHD 1440p footage with true HDR during both day and night at 30FPS. High Dynamic Range technology ensures optimal exposure and vibrant details, even in challenging lighting conditions. The wide angle lens view (156°) will minimize blind spots record more event details. Dewarping Technology provides an accurate front view with minimal distortion of the vehicle while visual irregularities are eliminated, and the true essence of the scene is preserved. Exceptional clarity during night drives is provided by Super Night Vision 3.0, allowing for enhanced night-time visibility.
Super Night Vision 3.0
Thanks to its 5.14MP Sony STARVIS sensor and Super Night Vision 3.0, the DVR-Q1000 enhances video brightness in low light conditions so you don't miss important details.
Wide Dynamic Range
Avoid overexposure in your Dash Cam footage when experiencing sources of bright light whilst driving, keeping your footage clearer. Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) is technology that allows the dashboard camera to capture a clearer image in a strongly contrasted environment. It can solve problems such as intense contrasts of light sources. In the event of a sudden change in frontal light exposure, such as when driving into or out of a tunnel or driving directly into bright sunshine, the Wide Dynamic Range function will eliminate excessively bright spots on the recordings.
Thinkware Connected Cloud
Recordings can be seamlessly uploaded to the cloud if the DVR-Q1000 is connected to the internet via a smartphone hotspot or similar. The ability to access your videos anytime, anywhere, ensures convenience and flexibility, allows the user to easily share them with insurance companies or authorities as needed. This feature requires a free Thinkware Connected account. Footage can be stored on the Thinkware Connected Cloud storage for up to 30 days.
Thinkware CONNECTED
Receive notifications, review footage & track location when you are away from your vehicle in real-time via the Thinkware Connected smartphone app & PC Application. Each Connected account can link up to 30 vehicles for FREE. Ideal for families & fleet. An emergency message can be sent to all registered contacts when the driver presses the REC button located on the dash cam for more than 3 seconds to request for help. In this situation, a 10-second video (5 seconds before and after the incident) will be uploaded to the server automatically. You can register the contact details of your friends, family, or associates and ensure that help will be on the way in case something happens.
Strong Impact Notifications while Driving
A serious impact stronger than 3g will trigger the Thinkware CONNECTED to show a notification on the app and send an emergency message to your registered contacts. The notification and message will contain crucial information like where the accident took place and a link to a 20-second video clip of the accident (10 seconds before and after the impact). This clip is saved on the server automatically and you can access it later as well. This feature is helpful in case of a potential major incident so your loved ones or fleet manager can take swift action.
Vehicle Status & Driving History
You can find important information like whether the vehicle is parked or driving, check the battery voltage, and even turn off the dash cam remotely if the battery voltage is low, all from the Thinkware CONNECTED App. The app also allows you to view driving history with information like date, time, distance, route, and driving behavior.
Day and Night Vehicle Surveillance
The DVR-Q1000 includes a parking mode that keeps your car under surveillance even at night. If any impact by another car, bike, etc is noted, the camera will store this video footage and you can review it later to identify and proof what happened. The Thinkware Connected app will receive a notification automatically. An option to save a 20-second video of the incident (10 seconds before and after the incident) on the Thinkware CONNECTED server is given within the notification. This footage can be checked later from the app.
Captured Image of Most Recent Parking
With Thinkware CONNECTED, you won’t have to remember where you parked your vehicle. This feature allows you to view an image of your front and rear views of where you last parked, along with the location of the vehicle. You can also go to ‘Parking History’ to find a record of your previous Parking Captured images. This feature only works while using the mobile app.
Lane Departure Warning System
Drowsy or distracted driving greatly increases the chance of an accident on the road. The Lane Departure Warning System will alert the driver when the vehicle goes off lane in a speed over 50 km/h.
Forward Collision Warning System
Accidents can be avoided by maintaining a safe following distance. The Forward Collision Warning System of the DVR-Q1000 calculates the real-time distance between your vehicle and the vehicle in front of you, while driving above 30 km/h in highways or under 30 km/h in a busy city, and issues a 3-level early warning to the driver depending on the danger of collision.
Front Vehicle Departure Warning (FVDW)
Informs the driver of the vehicle ahead starting to move. This feature is used to alert drivers who may be distracted to divert their attention back to the road in front of them.
Speed Camera Warning
You can download the speed camera database here to receive in-time warnings when approaching speed cameras or red light cameras at intersections (legal operation of this function is subject to local traffic law).
Dash Cam Viewer for PC and MAC
The intuitive and simple-to-use interface of the Alpine Dash Cam Viewer for PC and MAC allows you to easily view your recorded videos. Playback and download recorded videos along with your route history and speed recording and see, if any videos have been tagged by the camera with a recorded impact by another car (parking mode). You can also change the dash cam settings or format the memory card. You can download the Alpine Dash Cam Viewer from the support section below.
Rear Camera Expansion
Alpine offers a rear-view accessory camera (RVC-R1000) that simultaneously records the traffic through your rear window. This gives you an extra layer of security while driving, as well as in parking surveillance mode. When recording in 2-channel mode, you get around 16 hours of recording time with an optional 256GB microSD card, until non-event footage is overwritten.
